Dear friends and South Lantau community,
A great community initiative is being planned by John at OohLala restaurant. He is setting up an organic vegetable and wine market to be held twice monthly on a Saturday in the car park in front of the restaurant . Scheduled to start mid Dec, the market will be in support of local organic farmers and organic wine producers. He is already making EM compost which he will provide to the farmers to ensure their produce is organic.
The market will be a great opportunity for us all to benefit from buying organic as well as to support local farmers. The market can become a regular community event where different home crafts and entertainment can be featured. If you are interested to become part of this community project - speak to John (just pop in to Oh La La or telephone 2984-8710 ). He said he has spare tables available. And spread the word ...
