It is certainly a busy time of year for all, but last weekend presented South Lantau Island with some excellent entertainment! Saturday night, after another successful LIS Fair, the Christmas Family Disco was held. There were a lot of eager children and some great dance moves busted out. Some new dances were taught, some games played and of course some fabulously dressed kids. Since the sun sets earlier at this time of year the lighting created quite the atmosphere of discos we would all remember... Hopefully it will be a memory our children can all cherish! In future weeks I'll post a few photos of the event.
Sunday was a beautiful day for a Children's Christmas Party! Again lots of kids were there, and the outdoor setting at Palm Beach was sensational! The BBQs were hot, there were cold drinks and icecreams galour, and a beautiful Christmas performance seen. Santa arrived on a Harley and spent a long time handing out presents to all the good boys and girls... and those there will speak of his exit for a while yet! A big thankyou to Barbara and Mel, and the crew at Palm Beach for organising such a great day out...
As Christmas approaches don't forget to get involved in the Carols Club and to spread the warmth of Christmas during the cold days and nights...
